Retried Panther alerts are missing alert context in the alert destination
QUESTION
The connection between Panther and an alert destination failed briefly, and some alerts that were sent during this period were retried or "re-sent" when the connection was restored. For the alerts sent during the failure period, the alert context appears in Panther but not in the alert destination. Why is this?
ANSWER
Alert context only comes with the first attempt to send an alert. For all repeated attempts to send an alert, Panther doesn't send alert context. In situations like this, alert context will always be available in the Panther Console.
