When I try to onboard Atlassian Audit logs via the native integration in Panther, the following error occurs:

"Source Atlassian Audit Logs did not pass configuration check because: Atlassian API error (403) - Non 200 response, failed with message: {"timestamp":"2025-08-30T10:43:22.111+00:00", "path":"/api/admin/v1/orgs/123456789abc/events-stream", "status":403,"error":"Forbidden", "message":"User has no permission to access resource.","requestId":"xxx"}"

How do I resolve this?

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please ensure that you are using a non-scoped API key for the log source configuration.

Cause

This issue occurs because the query audit logs API endpoint Panther uses does not support API keys with scopes.
