How do I resolve a "Panther cannot import X helper file" error?

Issue

When running the PAT upload command, I am getting a "Panther cannot import X helper file" error.

Resolution

  • Make sure you are running the command from your root directory.
  • If you are using a pack workflow and seeing this error, make sure you update your packs and confirm they are enabled.
  • In the Panther Console, navigate to Build > Helpers > the specific helper. Check when the helper was last updated, as well as if it contains the function that cannot be imported.
  • If the function is still not there after updating, please keep a copy of the existing version of your helper, and then replace it with the most recent version of the helper from GitHub.

Cause

This error happens when you are running the PAT upload command outside of your root directory, or if you're missing the most recent version of the helper.
