Panther detection editor cursor shows space to the right of where it actually is

Issue

When editing a detection's code in Functions & Tests, the cursor slowly gets further and further away from where characters appear, more and more as the cursor moves toward the right side of the screen.

Resolution

To help us prioritize a resolution for this issue, please contact our support team and let us know that you see it. In the meantime, the following workarounds have resolved this for some users:

  • If you're using a laptop, move your browser window to the laptop's built-in screen.
  • Use Firefox instead of Google Chrome.

Cause

This issue occurs due to a Panther bug, and there is a task in our backlog to fix it.
