QUESTION

What happens when the connection is lost during the log ingestion of Panther's native log sources?

ANSWER

If the native log source integrates an automated puller (which doesn't allow you to select the transport mechanism), Panther will automatically retry and resume log ingestion from where it was interrupted once the connection is restored. This does not apply to native log sources that offer the option to select the transport mechanism, such as HTTP.
