Does Panther support WAFv2 resources for cloud security scanning?

QUESTION

When using Cloud Security Scanning in Panther, will my WAFv2 AWS resources be monitored? What about Firewall Manager resources?

ANSWER

Panther currently only supports WAFv1 resources. Our product team is considering adding support for WAFv2 and Firewall Manager v2 as cloud resource types, but there isn't a timeline for development or release of these features.

While this feature is not in place, you can proceed with onboarding AWS WAF logs with an S3 source.
